WORLDCOM PUBLIC RELATIONS GROUP ELECTS NEW CHAIRMAN

New York, April 26, 2005 – James A. Sluzewski, president of Cleveland-based Public Relations Partners, Inc., has been elected chairman of The Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world's largest network of independently owned public relations counseling firms.

At its Annual General Meeting in Paris, April 12-15, Worldcom partners chose Sluzewski for a two-year term as chairman, concluding in April 2007. Succeeding Sluzewski at that point will be Thomas Van Blarcom, managing director of TQPR Thailand in Bangkok. 

As chairman, Sluzewski will lead a dynamic organization of nearly 100 leading public relations firms operating in 35 nations on six continents. Together, Worldcom firms employ nearly 1,400 staff members and reported 2004 fee billings of more than $158 million.
