WASHINGTON, D.C. (July 25) – The Kellen Company, an international association management and professional services company, announced it has boosted its public affairs capabilities by increasing resources and rebranding its Washington-based public affairs division.  The enhanced division, KellenAdams Public Affairs, will coordinate and expand public affairs services for the company.

“Public policy is an area of major concern for our clients, particularly with the current uncertainty over taxes and other key issues,” said Peter Rush, CEO of the Kellen Company and an expert on tax policy.  He noted that in 2008 the company acquired John Adams Associates (JAA) an award-winning public affairs and communications firm in the nation’s capital.  JAA, which operated as the public affairs division of the Kellen Company, will continue operations as KellenAdams and will be responsible for growing the division’s footprint in Washington.

“With this rebranding, we seek to clarify the public affairs capabilities offered by the Kellen Company, and strengthen the unit to expand all our public affairs services in this country and worldwide,” Rush said.

John Adams, who will head KellenAdams Public Affairs, said the move could not have come at a better time for the company and its clients.  “The need is increasingly urgent as companies struggle with the nation’s heightened economic and political uncertainties,” he said.  “We will be providing strategic counsel, monitoring, planning and implementation of carefully targeted communication programs.”

KellenAdams will be located in the Kellen Company’s Washington offices at the National Press Building, Suite 750.   For more information, visit www.kellenadams.com or call (202) 591-2440.
